In a Nod to Right to Repair, Apple Touts Repairability of iPhone 15

Yesterday Apple included a brief phrase in its launch of its iPhone 15 and it ushers in a new day for low-hassle repairs of iPhones for users.

“There is also a new internal chassis architecture that makes iPhone more repairable, thanks to a new structural frame that allows the back glass to be easily replaced,” claimed Apple in its iPhone 15 launch.

Meanwhile, lawmakers in Apple’s home state, California, passed right-to-repair legislation yesterday that compels manufacturers, from carmakers to tech firms, to make repair of their devices more accessible to customers. (404 Media)
